About ME

Prior to starting her own accounting firm, Trish was a Financial Analyst in the Physics Department at Yale University, responsible for monitoring and reporting over 30 research and development accounts, with annual funding for these accounts exceeding $3M. She also worked in the Provost office at Yale to assist with financial projects and prepare monthly grant commitment accounting statements and analytical financial reports. Trish also worked in the childcare industry teaching preschoolers to age 12 about life skills, teamwork and arts/crafts. She occasionally worked with teenagers and taught them social responsibility. There is no greater reward than working with children and teaching them values of life. Prior to working with children, Trish managed the accounting responsibilities, gained valuable business and financial knowledge at Tech-Quip Associates, a manufacturing firm established by her dad.

Trish has a BSBA Degree in Accounting from Western New England College in Springfield, MA and is certified in Small Business Accounting and Tax Preparation from Universal Accounting System. She also has a certificate in Non-Profit Bookkeeping from CT Non-Profits Center for Professional Development. She is a member of the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Tax Preparers and Ewomen networking. Trish frequently volunteers for the Essex Lions Club.

Trish has a broad range of experience in small business accounting, QuickBooks Training and Microsoft Office. Her life has come full-circle with publishing her handbook and workbook. Trish resides in Essex, Connecticut with a variety of pets.
